Nordic electricity

Elnordic was founded in 2025 by Fredrik Kirsebom and Christian Rennesund, with a clear vision: to accelerate the real electrification of the construction industry. With extensive experience in procurement and logistics – especially from complex construction projects – they discovered how many misconceptions characterized suppliers’ strategies, especially when it came to electric machines and their profitability. This was the beginning of Elnordic.

The company was the first in the Nordic region to focus exclusively on electric construction machinery, and has since grown to become the leading player in Northern Europe in the sale and leasing of electric machinery. Today, Elnordic has helped over 1,200 companies succeed financially in the transition to electric machinery, and actively contributes to making sustainability profitable in practice.

Today, Elnordic consists of over 5,300 employees in 47 countries, with a head office in Zurich and an annual turnover of NOK 57 billion. The name Elnordic is no coincidence – Norway has been a pioneer in electrification, with world-leading policies and technology development related to electric cars. Our business idea is simple: If the machines can withstand Nordic conditions and requirements for profitability – then they can withstand the rest of the world.
